SPRAYCARE, the sprayer division of the Brown Butlin crop protection group, is moving to new premises at Roughton Moor, Woodhall Spa.
The move, which will be completed by Dec 1, is designed to allow the company to concentrate on its sprayer spare parts business and, it says, allow the development of new services designed to assist farmers with issues of crop protocols, environmental safety and legislation.
There are plans to develop educational and training facilities, which are expected to be required by sprayer operators in the future.
The company has also withdrawn from the direct supply of spraying machinery, believing that dedicated machinery dealers having greater trade-in facilities will increasingly handle this area.
Spraycare has depots in Yorkshire, Notts and Cambs. *
