Stress-busting offer for true F&Msufferers
Stress-busting offer for true F&Msufferers
There is tremendous
sympathy for farmers
suffering the stress of the
foot-and-mouth outbreak
and people and
companies outside of
farming have been quick
to come forward with
tangible offers of help
SPRINGS Health Farm, Packington, Ashby-de -la-Zouch, Leics – which many readers know through our annual autumn breaks – is offering a wonderful opportunity for some of our readers to relax and revitalise .
This must be a difficult time for the farming industry, says Springs director Stephen Purdew in his letter to the Editor. farmers weekly and its readers have given our health farm a great deal of support over the years and we would like to give away 10 mid-week, two-night breaks for two people sharing a standard room at Springs Health Farm. We would like you to offer this to farmers who have suffered from the current F&M outbreak.
The two-night break will include a number of treatments, together with the use of facilities at the health farm and we would be happy to send the 10 couples a voucher each for their visit. Hopefully this will give the recipients the chance to get away and relax.
farmers weekly would like to ensure that these breaks are enjoyed by readers who really need them – those who have endured the stress of having their livestock culled and need a break from it all. Men and women will equally enjoy Springs Health Farm – which is like staying at a good hotel with the addition of superb fitness and pampering extras. You might like to do absolutely nothing and just chill out by the pool. Or you could warm your worries away in the sauna, work off your frustrations in the gym or work out in an exercise class. There are alternative and specialist therapies to enjoy and even the food is scrummy – health farms today are a real tonic and stress-busting is their stock in trade.
This offer is available ONLY to readers over 18 years, who have had stock culled due to F&M this year. For the chance of a free mid-week two-night break for two people sharing a standard room at Springs, write to Springs Break, Farmlife, farmers weekly, Quadrant House, Sutton, Surrey SM2 5AS, stating your name, address and telephone number. Applications should arrive no later than Fri, June 12, 2001. The names and addresses of winners will be published in farmers weekly and the editors decision is final.
