Stricter labelling

TIGHTER labelling of animal feeds is being proposed in a MAFF consultation paper released this week. Proposed regulations mean that any animal material still allowed in mixed feed will have to be separately named. Labels will also carry a compulsory warning not to feed mammalian meat and bonemeal to any farmed animals or horses.
