Telehandler now runs on batteries
REGULATIONS governing the use of loading equipment in vegetable pack houses has led Terex Lifting to convert its 2306 telehandler to run on batteries.
Power is provided by thirty-seven 12V batteries which are grouped in three banks located in the engine bay and each side of the boom pivot point. With help from a series of 80v motors, the 2306 offers a maximum lift capacity and height of 2300kg and 5.7m. *
