Tempting for mice

MICE can be controlled anywhere on the farm by using a plastic bait station that encourages them to take bait, says supplier Sorex.

It claims the sloping floor and sides of its Bait Box ensure bait is constantly presented to the mouse.

The box also has a sloping roof and its strong plastic construction allows it to be used outside while keeping the bait fresh. It can be secured to the floor with wire or screws, adds Sorex.

The bait station is available from agricultural merchants and costs about £2 (0151-4207151).
