Two jailed for cruelty to cattle

TWO men who bought 13 calves to keep as a “hobby” were jailed for causing unnecessary suffering to the animals.

Richard Lovell and Craig Boyd, who failed to properly care for the cattle, were jailed for 28 days at Leicester Magistrates Court.
