Tyre carries more
A LUGGED agricultural tyre des-igned for extra load-carrying capacity and wear and tear characteristics has been introduced by Continental.
Available in 21 sizes from 60cm to 121cm (24in to 48in), the AC85 tyre replaces the AC90 version and has load/speed ratings from 122A8 to 162A8.
Improvements on the previous version include 15% more carrying capacity, 30% extra resistance to wear and a 10% increase in absorbency, says the manufacturer. For work in abrasive conditions, the tyre is equipped with beaded sidewalls, while rounded shoulders and lugs allow for use on turf. *
