USA on trade warpath

THE USA has said it will launch enforcement proceedings against six countries for violations of international trade rules, and threatened action against several others.

Among the subjects of complaints is Romania, over imports of poultry, reports the Financial Times.

This move comes as US officials head to Brussels to try to settle a transatlantic trade dispute worth billions of dollars.
