Wind meter helps spot spraying time

TAKE advantage of often missed spraying opportunities with the Kestrel 2000 pocket wind meter.

An electronic rotating vane thermo-anemometer, the Kestrel 2000 records current, maximum and average air speeds, temperature and wind chill equivalent temperature.

Precision jewel bearings and a lightweight impeller are claimed to provide accurate measurements at low wind speeds. Air speed can be displayed in knots, m/sec, kph, mph, ft/min and Beaufort force, while temperature measurement can be in Centigrade or Fahrenheit.

Battery life is said to be about 400 hours of operation, with auto-shutdown taking place 30min after last being used. The Kestrel 2000 costs from £97.87 (01590-679755).
