New Hollands
new telehandler

NOT quite ready for its UK launch – that will take place later this year – New Hollands long awaited entry into the telescopic loader market is imminent.
Looking very Caterpillarish in unmarked livery, hiding what must surely be a rear-mounted Iveco engine, the new loader is the result of an agreement with French telehandler manufacturer Manitou.
When announcing an intention to build telehandlers last spring (FW, Machinery, May 9), New Holland insisted models would be entirely different from those produced in the Manitou camp.
It was also stated the range would comprise five models offering lift capacities from 2.8t to 3.2t and lift heights from 6m to 9m. *
Well here it is. First glimpse of New Hollands new telescopic loader during trials on a farm in the southern counties. Production is due to start later this year. The range is expected to comprise five models.
