Description
The rights comprise about 485 yards of double bank fishing and 1,871 yards of single bank fishing on the River Dovey and on it’s tributary, the Afon Cleifion, which joins the main course just above the bridge at Mallwyd.
Situated just down the lane from the renowned Brigands Inn, these rights offer some of the most accessible fishing in Mid-Wales, just moments from the A458 road to Welshpool, providing easy access from across mid-Wales and the Marches counties beyond. We understand that the rights include vehicular access for maintenance, along with picnic rights for six-meters on the adjoining land.
The beat provides wild Brown Trout and Grayling fishing, as well as opportunities to fish for Sea Trout and Salmon when the water conditions permit. At this point in its course the Dovey acts as a spate river, rising quickly after periods of rainfall providing the conditions to enable the targeting of these migratory species. All of this is set within the stunning scenery of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
The accessibility of the site would provide the perfect opportunity for a induvial or syndicate to obtain private rights in a highly desirable and well connected position. For further details please contact the selling agents.
