Nursery Farm is located to the north of the village of Landford to the north-east of the A36 trunk road from Salisbury (10 miles) to Southampton (14 miles). The farm is approached down a long private tarmac drive

Nursery Farm extends to about 15.77 acres and comprises a 3 bedroom farmhouse (subject to an Agricultural Occupancy Agreement) three redundant poultry houses, and a range of ancillary buildings including a farm office/staff room and smaller organic poultry sheds. The site was established in 1990 and has previously been used for the rearing of broiler birds for meat production until it closed in 2018.

There is a detached 3 bedroom farmhouse which is constructed of brick under a tile roof. The ground floor comprises an enclosed porch, open plan sitting room/dining area and a kitchen. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate WC. Outside there is an attached
garage, utility room and a paddock which separates the house
from the poultry farm.

There are three disused poultry houses of timber frame construction, on concrete block bases with concrete floors, which cover a gross external area (GEA) of about 50,711 sq.ft. These are understood to have been built in 1997 and have since been re-roofed and internally foam insulated in the late 1990s. These buildings are fitted with automatic feeders, nipple drinkers and mechanical ventilation. In addition to the sheds there is an administration block including an office, rest room, two stores, a garage and a separate WC.
