Breakout session details
Host venue technical session
An exclusive technical session hosted by Dyson Farming Research, focusing on the latest on-site trials and innovation projects being conducted at the venue.
Moving to 25cm row spacing
Moving to 25cm row spacing offers the opportunity to maintain yields while achieving improved weed control and better plant health. But what are the pros and cons? Does the ability to hoe between the rows outweigh any yield penalty of wider spacing? Are overall costs reduced?
Focus: Benefits and implications of a 25cm row spacing strategy.
Phosphate availability and spray quality
In this practical field session, De Sangosse will explore how phosphate becomes locked up in the soil and what can be done to improve bioavailability and uptake during key early growth stages.
We'll also look at how water quality influences pesticide performance, and the simple steps growers can take to manage spray water more effectively through real-world examples.
Variety selection on a farm
Variety selection is now more important than ever. Matt Bull agroservice manager at KWS will guide you through the variety characteristics and how they best fit on farm. This will also be an opportunity to see KWS’s new Recommended List candidate varieties for 2026 which include the highest yielding variety for both treated and untreated yield.
