The sale of the Knapton Estate provides a rare opportunity to acquire in a ring fence 1,228 acres of highly productive and versatile mainly arable land, in North Yorkshire. The Knapton Estate was once a much larger country estate which was subsequently divided up in 1925, with the main portion of the agricultural estate purchased by the current owners in 1942. Having been in the same ownership for over 83 years, the owners have now made the decision to sell the two farms, which have been farmed by two separate farming families in more recent years.

The Estate is put to the market as a whole with 2 farmsteads and the expectation that   buyers will offer for the whole or such parts as meet their requirements.

The intention is to sell the whole but with flexibility as to how it is divided.
