NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS LAND AT FORMER RAF SCAMPTON, SCAMPTON, LINCOLN, LN1 2ST (THE PROPERTY)
The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government as owner of the Property on behalf of The Home Office (the Authority) having declared the Property as surplus to requirements hereby serves notice that it intends to dispose of the Property.
The Property (registered at HM Land Registry with title LL428890) is shown edged red on the Plan which is available online at
http://bit.ly/4vnItVn
and the QR Code, or on request to Newmark, One Fitzroy, 6 Mortimer Street, London W1T 3JJ, subject to payment of the Authority’s reasonable costs in producing the same.
The Authority proposes to dispose of the Property and will not be offering it back to former owners or their successors under the Crichel Down Rules (September 2024).
The disposal falls within an exemption tooffer back under Rule 10 of the Crichel Down Rules where the character of the land has materially changed since acquisition.
