Farmers Weekly launches spin-off ‘country’ title

Home-farm-coverLove the countryside? If so, you will love Home Farm – a new 100-page glossy brought to you by Farmers Weekly.

It contains a mix of content for all the family and will appeal to Farmers Weekly’s existing readers, plus anyone who enjoys the rural lifestyle.

Split into sections such as People, Arts, Humour, Pets and Food, it goes on sale this week in good newsagents and supermarkets (and is available via the FW app) priced £5.99.

“There is nowhere quite like the great British countryside,” says Farmers Weekly editor Karl Schneider. “Ask those who live or work there to sum up what’s so special about it and they will tell you it’s a way of life. Home Farm celebrates this way of life.

“There are some big problems in farming at the moment, but Home Farm will give people an opportunity to enjoy everything that’s best about life on a farm and in rural areas across the nation.

“In its pages you will meet fascinating people, read about interesting businesses and get an insight into the busy rural arts scene. You’ll get inspiration for delicious recipes, ideas for great gifts, plus activities to amuse the kids on days when it’s too wet to get outdoors.”

Three pages from Home Farm

“You can laugh along with our humour section, celebrate the joys (and trials!) of pet ownership, plus read about conservation and country sports. You will even get to meet the two sexiest farmers in Britain. Now there’s a combination you won’t get to see in one place every day.”
