Farming mental health is back in the spotlight as the internet-wide #MentalHealthWeek gets under way.
The issue has risen in prominence in recent years as the industry that often has great pressures, combined with prolongued periods of isolation, acknowledges it has a problem.
According to the Office of National Statistics (ONS), the leading cause of death for people aged 20-34 is suicide – and according to the ONS, more than one agricultural worker a week dies by suicide.
