New Zealand sheep genetics could be more readily available to livestock farmers thanks to an exclusive deal securing distribution rights.

Innovis, a company supplying sheep technologies, has announced an agreement with New Zealand-based Focus Genetics as the sole supplier from one of the largest global gene pools.

Product ranges will now include the Primera terminal sire and Highlander damline, which have been bred and reared on grass-based systems to improve flock performance and efficiency.
