Super suspension offers new worming options

A new broad-spectrum generation wormer for pigs that can be administered through drinking water has been launched at the Pig and Poultry Fair 2012.

Panacur AquaSol is effective against intestinal pig worms, including the larval stages of Ascaris Suum. The suspension properties of the product mean the powder mixes easily with water and will stay in suspension for a minimum of 24 hours.

Speaking about the product, MSD technical manager for pigs, Ricardo Neto, said: The milling process gives Panacur AquaSol unique properties that can eliminate settling out and sedimentation for at least 24 hours, problems that have put many producers off using wormers administered in drinking water in the past. This formulation has literally dissolved these issues,” he said.
