Shearfeeder combines sheargrab and feed-out bucket

This may just look like an upside-down shear-grab, but it’s actually much more clever than that. Combining the principles of a feed-out bucket with a shear-grab, the Shearfeeder cuts a block of silage from the clamp in the conventional.
It then rotates it through 180deg so that its hydraulically-driven crumbler rotor and conveyor are on the underside and can discharge feed to either left or right. Sequence-triggered hydraulics mean just one auxiliary service is required on the loader, although Irish manufacturer ProDig Attachments says it is working on an electronic control box. Price for a 1.5m (5ft) version is ÂŁ5750.
