A new range of 143hp to 212hp tractors heads the Landini range, featuring a ZF semi-powershift transmission that will be joined in 2014 by a CVT version giving stepless speed control.
The Series 6 (four-cylinder) and Series 7 (six-cylinder) machines have SCR-equipped engines from FPT Industrial and a new cab designed and engineered by Argo Tractors with a higher level of electronic controls and equipment than before.
A higher-spec model has been reintroduced to the Landini Landpower range to complement the all-mechanical Techno version. Both feature the new Master Class cabin, a four-post design that is larger and better equipped than its predecessor.
The Landpower Comfort has more hydraulic pump output and uses the Top-Tronic transmission with power shuttle, triple-step powershift and optional creep gearbox.
The 5-H Series tractors have been upgraded to Euro 3B / US Tier 4i emissions compliance by installing the new Perkins 850 series engine. This 3.4-litre unit has similar power outputs but better power delivery characteristics and more torque.
Emissions are tackled by combustion tuning and a diesel particulates filter, while electronic common rail fuel injection helps economy. The engine produces 85hp to 113hp for all operations on Synchro Shuttle versions, while all but the top power shuttle-equipped Dual Power models have 10hp of extra output for transport and pto work.
New hood styling and a refreshed cab interior distinguish the newcomers from their predecessors.
