Dairy farmers are optimistic

OPTIMISM is the overriding attitude of dairy producers, according to a Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers study conducted at this years Dairy Event.

Involving 200 dairy producers, the study shows 60% of producers are optimistic about business prospects compared with 47% last year and 25% in 1999. Planned investment in feed, buildings, parlours and other equipment was greater than in previous years, believed to be as a result of an increase in milk price. &#42
