Marrowfat gain
IT seems marrowfat varieties have faired better in this difficult season for peas. Currently recommended variety Maro gained 10% on its long-term mean, returning 88% of controls compared to a 1997-2001 average of 78%. On the same basis Supra put on 8%, Princess 3%, and provisionally recommended Samson 5%. *
