McClymont wins Sir William Young Award
GRAHAM McCLYMONT is the 1998 winner of the Sir William Young Award for an outstanding contribution to Scottish livestock breeding.
The award is made annually by the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society. McClymont, of Cuil, Palnure, Newton Stewart became the first UK breeder to get five figures for a ram when Superstar sold for £13,000 in 1975.
