Monsanto goes to High Court over GM protests
MONSANTO begun a High Court action to stop protestors pulling up its genetically modified (GM) plants at test sites.
The biotechnology wants a permanent injunction against six members of GenetiX Snowball, the group that uprooted GM plants at a farm in Oxfordshire last July.
Five women were released without trial after the incident, but Monsanto took out temporary injunctions against them, banning further interference with its crops.
