Publican to be prosecuted over beef on the bone
ALAN COOMBER, of the Bell Inn, at Iden, East Sussex, is to be prosecuted
under the beef-on-the-bone regulations after two environmental health officers
bought T-bone steaks in his pub.
The Daily Telegraph calls the landlord an unlikely hero in the making.
While it says Coomber must face his punishment, it says he will have done us all
a great service if he can focus renewed attention on “just how idiotic the ban
is”.
