Sum-IT adapts for hand-helds
SUM-IT has adapted its Field Management software to run on Husky hand-held computers.
The compact, rugged units were originally developed for MOD use and come with a large clear LCD screen and conventional layout keyboard. They can be dropped on to concrete or into 2m (6ft) of water, so suit the rigours of daily farming life, says SUM-IT.
With the latest field records software installed from the office PC at the beginning of the day, the Husky allows field records to be viewed or updated during new operations. Fresh data can then be downloaded to the office computer directly, saving admin time.
Price of the Husky and associated software is £1500 + VAT. *
