Tractor transmission update

VALTRAs next generation of high hp Valmet tractors are to feature a new line of advanced transmissions and transmission management systems.

Specifically designed for Valmet machines, they will be the product of a joint venture between Valtra and Germanys ZF Group.

1997 production of tractors from Valtras plants in Finland and Brazil amounted to 14,000 machines, resulting in sales during the period of FIM 3.2bn (£380m).
