Thousands of livestock farmers are preparing to descend on the NEC in Birmingham for the two-day Dairy Event and Livestock Show.
The event, which for the first time also incorporates the National All Breeds Show, runs on 6 and 7 September.
Over 480 exhibitors will be in attendance and visitors are also being encouraged to attend a new livestock feature called New Smithfield.
The New Smithfield area is aimed at commercial beef farmers and will look at ways to help suckler producers improve herd income and get better finished cattle prices.
The machinery offering at this year’s show includes silage chopper and cubicle bedder demonstrations with sevens models of chopper and three bedder models running twice a day.
Farmers also have the choice of attending a packed programme of seminars- covering farm health planning and business issues.
You can follow the show remotely on FWi’s special report page which will be updated throughout the event.
