While sand bedding is an ideal medium for cows to lie on, it is usually seriously bad news for any machinery that has to handle it.
As a result, Shelbourne's Cubicle bedder 150 is now available with redesigned drive system which isolates the motor from any contact with sand - or any other abrasive material being used.
With a capacity of 1.2 cu m, the loader or tractor-mounted cubicle bedder is now available with a chain drive to the tined agitator - the hydraulic motor tucked safely away.
Other improvements include use of a more robust conveyor to exit the material out of the bedder. Price is £3978.
