The shortlist for the 2009 Farmers Weekly photo competition has been announced.
The judges – which include Farmlife Editor Tim Relf and FW’s photo editor Jodie Deakin – have chosen a shortlist from the mass of pictures which have been sent in by readers.
There are six categories and the judges have chosen 12 pictures for each of them. The categories are: pets, humour, arable, livestock, people and nature/wildlife/landscape.
The final winners will be revealed on 18 December and will be highlighted on FWi as well as appearing in that issue of Farmers Weekly magazine.
Farmers Weekly would like to thank everyone who took the time to send in their entries. There were some amazing pictures – but here are the 72 that will go forward for the final round of judging.
