Farmers Weekly’s online discussion and photo sharing area, FWiSpace, celebrates its first birthday today.

FWiSpace is an area of the website designed to enable farmers, and others in the industry, to discuss issues with each other, make contacts and offer advice and support.
It is a free, simple service which now has over 3500 registered members and is a great place for anyone involved in the countryside to exchange ideas.
FWiSpace is an ideal place to go if you’ve got comments about issues affecting the agricultural industry which you want to air or debate. Or why not pay a visit if you have questions about an article that has appeared in FW magazine or on FWi? As a magazine we’re always keen to talk to our readers and FWiSpace is an easy way to feed information and views back to the FW team.
Even if you don’t want to contribute to a debate yourself – FWiSpace is worth a visit to look at what others are doing. Everyone likes looking over the hedge at what their neighbours are up to, which perhaps explains why one of site’s most popular features is the photo gallery area. This already contains more than 5500 images of machinery, crops, livestock and, of course, people.
To add your own photographs – and to post messages – you do need to be registered on the site, but this only takes a couple of minutes. Alternatively, you can email pictures, and some information to caption them, to us. A selection of the best will appear in future issues of Farmers Weekly magazine.
