Househam Fieldmaster GPS system not short of processing power

Monday 15 March 2010 13:40

Latest version of Househam's Fieldmaster has an 8.9in touchscreen, is based on a rugged PC and runs Windows XP.

That means it has the processing power to deal with the ouput from a Yara N-Sensor without any other black boxes involved, says engineering director Andrew Kneen.

It also allows the operator to name fields, import from Farmade Gatekeeper mapping software, import SOYL maps and will work with any GPS receiver.

The full package of unit, aerial and GPS receiver costs £5250.
