Dairy Event 2011: Farmtrac looking to come to the UK

Polish-made tractor brand Farmtrac made its UK debut at the Diary Event and Livestock Show. Boasting Perkins engines, ZF and Carraro transmissions and Saur Danfoss hydraulics, the 675 and 690 DT models put out 80hp and 90hp respectively and it is expected that 100hp and 120hp models will be joining the versions imported shortly.

Currently, Collins Farm Machinery based near Dublin import the tractors into Ireland, but the company is looking for UK dealers willing to take on the brand. Since it started importing the budget brand in 2003, the number of machines sold in Ireland has reached over 150 units. The 675 DT starts at £26,220.
