The Battle of the Blogs is over.
Lincolnshire farmer Matthew Naylor won it with a 23% increase in readers, while Farmlife editor Tim Relf saw a 15% rise in this contest which saw two of our web columnists go head-to-head in a bid to increase their readership.
Matthew, whose Longer View blog covers life in the Fens, reckons it was his stories on potatoes and sausages (plus his musings on the prospect of a full body search) that netted him victory.
Tim, who writes the Field Day blog about the quirky side of country life, swore and went home.
