Cereals 2009: Kverneland Tine Seeded drill launched

A new version of Kverneland's Tine Seeder drill made its debut at Cereals.

Available in 4m-6m formats, the TS Evo folds in three sections reducing the overall transport height.

Wheels in the coulter frame carry the weight of the whole drill and one doubles up to replace the standard spoke-wheel for seed-metering.

With capacities up to 2200 litres, the hopper empties to one side, which means the Accord metering unit is easily accessible for calibration with the frame folded up.

The tine-coulters have a steeper point, which reduces soil disturbance, and there is the £4750 option of individual rubber press wheels to aid consolidation. Prices start from £21,000.
