This year's LAMMA show takes place at the Newark Showground on
16 and 17 January. Andy Collings highlights some of the new
products that will be on display.
A record number of companies are expected to exhibit at LAMMA
2008. In fact the organisers have announced that, with 470
exhibitors signed up, the show is officially full. It's a situation
that many other agricultural shows would be envious of.
While the every-other-year Agritechnica event in Germany is
becoming the show of choice for those wanting to see the latest
European launches, for most UK farmers LAMMA provides the first
opportunity to see new introductions in the flesh.
Simba
Lincolnshire firm Simba plans to use the Lamma event to
introduce its new SL cultivator range which, says the company,
combines well-proven elements from its Solo and X-Press ranges.
These include a combination of discs, tines and press which can
be arranged to cope with different soils and amounts of surface
trash. Available in 4m, 5m, 6m and 7m versions, the SL cultivator
has been designed to operate both as a primary cultivator and for
working down previously cultivated land.
