Administrators in at Yorkshire pig business

Administrators have been appointed at Driffield pig breeding and production company Agricultural Contract and Marketing Company (ACMC).

The family business was established in 1990 and supplies breeding stock to farmers worldwide.

Bob Maxwell and Rob Sadler of Begbies Traynor were appointed joint administrators on 27 April.

ACMC has 35 staff and continues to trade in administration in order to sell the business as a going concern and maximise the return to creditors.
