Sweep-ex brush makes light work of cleaning

Thursday 05 July 2012 09:34

Keeping sheds and concrete pads clean at harvest can prove a test of character even for the fittest harvest worker. That's where Hampshire distributor Broadwood International aims to help.

It says the high-density bristles of its Sweep-ex broom should make it versatile enough to deal with anything from dust to pebbles, so grain should be no problem.

The firm reckons bristles can manage to sweep up to 450 miles - the equivalent of a Portsmouth to Glasgow hike - before they wear out.

The new Sweep-ex range includes six different brooms. The top-of-the-range 2.44m-wide SMB-960 costs £1,250.
