Waitrose will be increasing its farmgate milk price from tomorrow (1 November).
The supermarket, which is the latest in a line of processors and retailers to announce increases, is set to pay farmers just over 32 p/litre.
"Our scheme is an industry leader and has been praised by farmers and farmers' leaders," said a Waitrose spokesman.
