Tesco has knocked more than a penny off the milk price paid to its group of 600 dairy farmers.  The producers face a 1.39p/litre price cut from 1 May, down to 28.69p/litre. Tesco bases the rate on those farmers’ average production costs, using data sent into consultant Promar.
