Welcome to the Farmers Weekly Photography Competition 2017, open from 13 October 2017 – 13 November 2017.
There’s a first prize of £250 and we’ll publish a selection of the shots we like on FWi and in the magazine.
There are eight categories covering all aspects of farming and rural life – and you can enter as many pictures and as many categories as you’d like.
The categories are:
- Black and white
- Young photographer (you must be 16 or under on day when entries close on Monday 13 November 2017)

Overall winner 2016
Our overall winner was Rose Tabberer whose picture of pet dog Ky, made the judges smile.
Ky sadly passed away this summer, but Rose cherishes this photo as it shows the dog’s character – “bold and in charge of her adoring fans”.
