Dairy support service launched in Scotland

A new service has been launched in Scotland to offer dairy farmers a one-stop shop for advice, information, training and support.

The Scottish Dairy Hub is being funded by the Scottish government and DairyCo and was set up following a recommendation in the Scottish Dairy Review Ambition 2025 report.

It is an independent initiative unique to Scotland and will offer the country’s dairy farmers a free, single point of contact for any dairy-related enquiry.

Responses, promised within 48 hours, aim to put farmers in touch with suppliers offering appropriate solutions.

Stuart Martin, manager of the Dairy Hub, said: “The dairy industry is changing and we need to be ready to adapt to the evolving sector around us.”

Farmers can get in touch with the Dairy Hub by calling 08454 755 110 or 07500 766 083, emailing info@scottishdairyhub.org.uk or placing an question at www.scottishdairyhub.org.uk.
