StockMove Express helps farmers register calves or record cattle movements

In an age of increasing time pressures farmers can now register calves or record cattle movements with BCMS in the field, thanks to the launch of StockMove Express from Shearwell Data.

The new service allows farmers to use a bluetooth and/or GPS enabled mobile phone to send calf registrating data to CTS from anywhere without the need for a computer or the perils of paper-based postal applications.

The technology can also be used with EID tags, as users can scan tags with an RFID reader and then send the tag number from the reader to the phone for onward transmission.
