A video of a pheasant rounding up sheep has been creating a stir on Facebook, with almost 2,000 views in a day.
Cumbrian sheep farmer Chris Purdham, Croft House Farm, Gamblesby, says the pheasant has been helping him round up his sheep for the past 18 months, first appearing during the 2015 lambing season.

The unnamed bird appears every day while Mr Purdham is doing the rounds to check his 750 Swaledale breeding ewes.
“It is definitely the same pheasant that first appeared in 2015 and it has made an appearance every morning since. After I’ve finished checking the sheep, we both go our ways to get breakfast,” he said.
