Tramspread to import Reck slurry mixers

Suffolk slurry handling and storage specialist Tramspread, based in Stowmarket, is now importing Reck slurry mixers.

German firm Reck says it can offer over 1,000 mixer variations to keep slurry in top condition ready for separation, pumping and application, including pto and electrically-driven models.

Three-point linkage mounted folding versions are available in 4-7m lengths, which the company says should be ideal for both covered and open slurry pits.

Longer, rigid-frame mixers are better suited to open slurry tanks and lagoons and have a range of mixing shafts from 4.4m to 11.3m long.

Frame extensions are available for some models, which should make it possible for mixing over 3m high slurry walls. There are others available for working in slurry towers up to 6m high.

Hydraulically-operated swivelling and telescopic height control are both options, too.

Prices start from ÂŁ2,000.
