ALLSETFORATERRIFICSHEEP2002

THE requirement for sheep producers to know their market has never been stronger and Sheep 2002 on Jul 31 at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, will assist this process by focusing on the importance of the food/supply chain.

Significant changes to the whole event layout include a new reception area which will emphasise the Conception to Consumption theme and provide visitors with their catalogue.

The event, through seminars, trade stands and collaborators will include the following aspects of the Conception to Consumption chain: Conception, breeding, health and welfare, selection, killing and classification, cutting, packaging and eating.

Technical advice and information will be given in six short, sharp seminars held throughout the day, sponsored by NatWest.

The biennial event attracted some 7500 visitors when it was last held in 2000 and is organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of England, the Three Counties Agricultural Society and the National Sheep Association in association with FARMERS WEEKLY.
