Britons eat more fruit and vegetables
BRITONS ate 4% more fruit last year than in 1996, and nearly a quarter more than 10 years ago.
The increase in fruit and vegetable consumption – also up 4% – was reported yesterday in the National Food Survey, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
