Cows play havoc with golf greens

A HERD of cows escaped from a field and ran across the second and 16th green at Panmure Golf Club in Scotland, leaving a trail of hoofmarks on the turf.

The greens are kept out of action for four months over winter in preparation for qualifying rounds for the Open at nearby Carnoustie.
