Euro-vets inspect British abattoirs
EUROPEAN Commission veterinary experts are inspecting UK abattoirs this week as part of the ongoing drive to restart beef exports, reports the Financial Times.
European Union agriculture ministers have already agreed an end to the ban but exports cannot resume until the vets approve procedures for handling the meet.
